About Lofoten Escape

Lofoten Escape is an independent travel resource dedicated to helping you discover the Lofoten Islands, from the fishing villages of Austvågøya and Vestvågøya to Reine and the Moskenesøya cliffs, the Vesterålen islands further north, and the practicalities of a trip above the Arctic Circle.

What we do

We create in-depth, regularly updated travel guides covering the E10 road through the archipelago, the fishing villages of Henningsvær, Nusfjord and Reine, fjord cruises to the Trollfjord, hiking trails such as Reinebringen, sea eagle safaris and wildlife watching, whale watching around Andenes in Vesterålen, the northern lights and the midnight sun, and practical tips for a region where the weather changes quickly and prices run high. Every article is researched thoroughly and written to give you genuine, useful advice — not generic filler content.

How we earn
